Communication Basics- Behavior Basics Program for Special Education

Communication Basics can be not so simple in the classroom. Teach students about personal space, appropriate volume and eye contact while communicating with others. This is one lesson included in Unit 4 of the Behavior Basics Program.

Behavior Basics Curriculum has been designed to help teach basic behaviors to students. This program has been broken into 60 behaviors divided into 4 units of study:

Unit 1: The Classroom Bundle
Unit 2: The School Bundle
Unit 3: Student Behaviors
Unit 4: Social Skills

Each behavior lesson includes:

All 60 behaviors follow the same weekly format to create a consistent routine within your classroom. The program is not designed to go in lesson order. Each behavior has been assigned a lesson number for teacher organization and easy location of the materials for each lesson. This also allows for flexibility on the teachers behalf to teach any behavior in any order they choose depending on class and student need. Behavior Basics Curriculum is great for any early childhood classroom, special education program or autism classroom. This is also great for any schools implementing a Positive Behavioral Intervention Services (PBIS) approach or looking to implement a school wide social emotional learning program.
