Q. Why can’t I open up the file?

There are a few things that you can try to help you open the file.

  • You should be opening the file in Adobe. If you did not create the PDF on your own computer, your best bet is to be opening the file in ADOBE. If you use a MAC, sometimes it defaults to opening files in Preview. While it might look okay on your screen, working in Preview is not the best choice for printing/opening/viewing documents you did not create yourself. To make sure you are opening the right file in a MAC, right click the file and choose “open with” and click Adobe!
  • A lot of my files are big bundles that hold multiple files within the file. That means you will be downloading a zip file. To get a detailed definition of what a zip file is and HOW to open it, read more HERE.

Q. What do I do if it says the file is corrupted?

Do not worry, the file is not corrupted. However, there are a few things that might fix this problem.

  • Most likely, I created the product with a newer version of Adobe than you currently have. First, make sure your Adobe Reader is up to date. Update Adobe, close adobe and the file, then re-open the file in Adobe. You can access Adobe HERE.
  • Some computers have built in support for zip files which can then cause issues opening/downloading them. If you get this message, this could easily be the case. Here is a workaround:
    • Move the download file into a new file/sub folder such as downloads, documents or desktop.
    • Right click the zip file and click “extract all.” This will decompress All the file in the zip file!

There are a few things you can try that fix MOST printing problems.

Q. Why is my PDF is blurry.

There are a few things you can try that fix MOST printing problems.

Q. Why can’t I edit the document? I need to make it customized for my students?

Many of my products are not editable. Many of my products have clipart. I did not create this clipart, it was purchased from a clipart artist. These artists all have specific TOU (terms of use) that do not allow me to give away their work in the format of a powerpoint or word document. This is to protect their hard work. Because of this, my products are all sold in PDF form to protect both of our work!

Some of my products ARE editable for you! If they are editable, it will be CLEARLY stated in the product description. If it does not state that it is editable, it is NOT editable. Please double check the product description before purchasing to make sure it meets your needs.

Q. How do I install the fonts you used in the editable files?

TpT has a wonderful tutorial about installing fonts. They walk you through the steps of downloading, installing and using the fonts. To read the full tutorial, click HERE.
