Letter Peg Activities!

Letter Peg boards… they are as simple as they come.  I feel like EVERY special ed class needs a set of these.  These are a great way to supplement worksheets, flash card fluency and letter recognition.  Let’s face it, when we are working on letter identification we need as many different modes of practice as possible.  Thats why I love these… Letter Peg Boards!

I use these mostly for my lower functioning kiddo’s.  I use these to provide hands on fine motor practice while exposing them to the alphabet.  I also differentiate these pegboards by having my higher students spell simple sight words with the foam letter blocks.

These letters are as self explanatory as they come, but they are great!  Simply use PEG to fill in each letter.  It’s a simple way to have students to practice identifying letters while exposing them to fine motor skills.
