President’s Day is here! President’s Day was established to honor our two greatest president’s, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Since then, we now honor all president’s on this day. Today’s blog post is all about President’s day celebrations in the classroom.

What Is President’s Day?

President’s day is so much more than a day off from school. It is important to teach kids the meaning of the day off from school! This social story helps introduce the holiday in an easy to read and understand format. You can print and bind it. You can also project it on your smart board to save on ink and paper. Different levels of this social story are included to meet the needs of all your students.
